Emily was born and raised in Springfield, MO and moved to Florida in 2019. She wanted to work with animals since she was little. She has now been in the veterinary field for almost 12 years. Before coming to Big Paws Animal Hospital most of her experience was with exotic pets from hamsters and birds to kangaroos, primates and giant reptiles. Emily has one Chihuahua named Apollo, Pearl a blue eyed Leucistic Texas rat snake and Bean a black ball python.
